Fires caused by fire and hot work occur all the time. A little carelessness can lead to the ignition of flammable components in the vicinity of the workplace. This can only be prevented by taking safety measures.
The media are constantly reporting on fires that cause damage running into the millions:

Pensioner caused fire through welding work
etc.
What is the consequence?
There are always subsequent court proceedings in the areas of criminal and civil law. This can result in costs running into millions. In most cases, insurance covers the damage, but the process is very costly and the personal contribution (time, expense, possible claims for damages that are not covered) can lead to bankruptcy.
For example, in the decision: 7 Ob 106/20v in a civil case, it was determined that special care is required when working with fire and hot work. An important part is also the training of employees.
This training is also regulated in the legal requirements. For this reason, employee training is absolutely essential.
